I picked Drake up from football practice tonight and learned one of his coaching techniques for fellow team mates. It went something like this-
Drake: "I told this kid on my team to suck it up"
Me: (laughing) "you did?"
Drake: "Yeah, I told him I am sick of listening to you whine! Just SUCK IT UP and hit the kid"
Me: (still laughing)"Wow! you sound just like your mother!"
Drake: "Well, I feel like I got front row tickets to listen to him whine! I'm cooolld, I'm Tiirred waa wwaaa waaaaa"
I know I probably shouldn't encourage this type of behavior, but...I already lost the mother of the year award. I might as well enjoy the few months that are left!

Happy Birthday Paige! I remember the Sundays of having just moved to the ward, and finding there was somebody who spent just about as much time in the nursing lounge as I did.
I loved your story of the half marathon. Well done. There is an awesome talk by the YW pres about running the Boston Marathon that shares your sentiments of needing good friends along the way. True true. What a beautiful family.
I LOVE it!! Teaching your kids to NOT be whiners and pass that along to other kids makes you a great mother in my book!! Ha Ha That is great!! Way to go!
