Breaks over!!

Summer break is over for us. Drake and Brendan started back to school today. Drake's in the 4th grade this year and, wanted nothing to do with Mom coming to school with him on the first day. He knew where to go and what to do and didn't need Mom tagging along. (so embarassing!) Brendan is in the 1st grade and is still okay with Mom coming along (thank heavens someone still needs me) He is so excited to go a full day and eat lunch at school. Fun stuff and a very important milestone in ones life. Logan will start preschool on the 2nd of September. He is also very excited, to be like the big boys and go to school. He was up early this morning getting ready with Drake and Brendan thinking today was his big day too. He got all dressed in his new school clothes and shoes and was ready to go. It is hard for him to understand time, and that he still has another week to wait. Paige wants to go to school too but just keeps saying "I'm not bigger yet". We have told her she has to wait until she's bigger. They are so much fun they keep us busy and very entertained most of the time. Never a dull moment at our house. Derek and I will also be starting school on Monday very exciting and a little nerve racking as well. We will see how things go this semester might be interesting. I am sure everything will be fine I just have to stress about it until then. We hope everyone is doing well and had a great summer. (It went by way to fast for us)

We have been so busy this summer. Somedays it feels like we have nothing to do and, other days I am so ready to stay home. I don't know if we have done anything exceptionally exciting (minus the rafting trip which the kids did not go on.) but we have stayed busy. I took some classes this summer and am getting ready for the fall semester, the boys all played baseball, Derek was in training for his job and hopes to return to school this fall as well, and Paige was just along for the ride (i guess).
Things are good here we have been so blessed in more ways than we realize I am sure. It has been a fun journey coming back to Pocatello. The kids love being closer to their grandparents they have had so much fun with them. Derek and I love it too we get all kinds of "free" date nights because of it. We hope all of you are doing well and stay in touch!!
